Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role will be a vital part of our team focused on fueling growth, and will report directly to our CEO.

We are looking for a sharp and innovative professional to come in as our first BDR to help scale the sales process. You are a highly competent speaker, writer and researcher, intelligent, ambitious, hard working, creative, resilient, and above all, coachable.

You will work hand in hand with our founding team to build and grow the sales foundation for a product that is truly revolutionizing the specialty chemicals industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities from internally-generated and inbound leads
  • Identify target accounts for new outbound sales campaigns
  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic outreach
  • Meet target quota related to number of qualified opportunities
  • Report, track, and manage sales activities
  • Play an active role in the creation and iteration of team processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Aptitude to learn new skills and technical concepts/terms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
